- Ralph Alex Mangham, age 91, passed away in the company friends and family on February 24, 2012,in Kerrville, Texas. He was born on August 10, 1920 in Melvin, Texas--the son of Levi "Bud" Alex Mangham and Leona Faye Dudley Mangham. He grew up primarily in Menard, Texas, but traveled often during his youth with his parents as his father was a musician.
On August 25, 1962 he was married to Margaret Colbath Landry in Kerrville, Texas. He is survived by his wife Margaret as well as three daughters, two sons, and their families,twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, two sons and one grandchild.
Blessed with mechanical aptitude, Ralph worked for may years in the field of auto repair and owned and managed RAM's Garage on Water Street. Later he worked in the Building Management Department at the Kerrville V.A. Hospital, retiring in 1983.
He was baptized on April 17, 1949 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He actively participated in the organization's door-to-door work and carried many responsibilities. Even with worsening health his dependably bright smile and enthusiastic participation in the worship services were always an inspiration and encouragement to his friends and family.
